Privacy policy
Quay's Junk Removal is a small local junk removal business. This page says, in plain words, what we collect when you use this site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect as little as we can to do the job.
What we collect
- What you give us when you ask for a bid: your name, phone number, email if you add it, the address of the junk, your description, any photos you send, and the time you pick. We also record that you agreed to these terms and this policy, and the date of the version you agreed to.
- When you sign the agreement: your typed name, your signature, the date and time, and the internet address and type of device you signed from. We keep those so the signature can be shown to be yours.
- Payments: if you pay by card, you pay on a page run by Stripe, our payment company. Your card number goes to Stripe and never touches this site. We see only that you paid, how much, and when. If you pay by cash or check, we write down the amount and the method.
- Photos we take: before and after photos of the items and the work area, for our records.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information. Ever.
- We do not use advertising trackers, analytics trackers or tracking cookies. Nothing on this site loads from an advertising or analytics company, no map, no outside font, no video. This site sets no cookie at all for customers, which is why there is no cookie banner to click. The only cookie it ever sets is the one that keeps a crew member signed in, and that is set only when the crew signs in.
- We do not send marketing texts or add you to a mailing list.
- We do not use your photos in advertising unless you ticked the box saying we may, and then never with faces, names or addresses.
- We do not use your information to train or teach any automated system, and no part of this site sends it to one.
Why we collect it
To give you a bid, show up at the right place and time, do the work, take payment, and keep the business records the law expects a business to keep.
Text messages
If you ticked the box on the bid form, we text you about that job only: your bid, your appointment, and when we are on the way. The texts are typed and sent by a person from the crew, a few per job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any of them, or tell us, and we will stop and call you instead. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of getting a bid or hiring us.
Your signature and the agreement
The agreement you sign on your phone is a contract. The copy we keep shows the wording, the bid line by line, the service fee or that it was waived, and the price, exactly as they read when you signed, with your signature, your typed name, the time and the device. We keep it for 4 years after the job is finished, which is the time Texas law allows for a dispute over a contract, and then we delete it. Only the owners and crew of Quay's Junk Removal see it, the company that hosts this site stores it for us, and you can see and print your own copy from your job page at any time.
Who sees it
- The owners and crew of Quay's Junk Removal, to do your job.
- The person who built and looks after this site for us, only when that is needed to keep it working, and under the same promises as on this page.
- The authorities, if the law requires us to hand something over.
These are the companies that hold or move your information for us, and what each one does. Each handles it only to provide that service to us. The list is complete as of 12 October 2026; if it changes, the list and the date change with it.
- Railway runs the site and holds its database, including photos and signatures, on servers in the United States.
- Stripe takes card payments on its own pages; the card number never reaches this site.
- Google delivers the email alerts the crew get when a request comes in, which carry the name and address on the request.
If you are a business, such as a landlord or a property manager, and you need a data processing agreement from us, ask and we will send a one page one: what we process for you, the list above, and deletion on request.
Your job link
After you ask for a bid you get a private link to your job. Anyone with that link can see your bid and address and can sign or cancel, so treat it like a key and do not post it publicly. The link is long and random and cannot be guessed.
How long we keep it
We keep job records, signed agreements and payment records for 4 years after the job, which is what tax and business law expect, and then delete them. If you asked for a bid and never hired us, you can ask us to delete your request and photos at any time, and we will.
Your choices
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to have a mistake fixed, to get a copy of it, or to have it deleted. To ask, call or text 806-437-0042. We answer within 30 days. We will delete everything we are not required by law to keep: a request that never became a job goes entirely, and once your jobs are finished we clear your name, phone, email, address, photos and notes, and keep only the amounts and the signed agreement for the time above. We will tell you what we kept and why.
Children
This site is for adults arranging junk removal. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change how we handle information we will change this page and the date at the top.
